I really liked the C&A Razors on mine. They seemed to handle good. They floated alot better then the stock skis. They were even good on water crossings. I'm sure they would be even better with a tight ball joints and the camber mod.
Its a real shame Yamaha doesn't want to take ownership of the problems and come good for a free fix. I dumped my Nytro. I liked a lot of things about the machine. However when stoopid things start bending and coming loose from normal use its a huge turnoff in contrast to what we paid for these...
If they are doing outbound checks and you get caught exporting without the 72hour clearance there is a $500 fine. They very seldom do checks on the outbound lane but you never know.
I think everyone needs to pick up phone and call Yamaha USA or Yamaha Canada and ask them to log the problem into the system. If they get enough complaints maybe they will do something about it. We know theres no shortage of bent sleds to speak off. They just need to get logged.
I had a problem with an oem belt I got was too tight. It just wasn't long enough.. You can adjust the secondary with the washers on the back side of it. What kind of top end are you getting now? Hace you re-geared?
Mine did that when it was new... once I had 800miles on it.. it stopped doing it.. It used to to it... when I was playing in a field when I would hit the gas real hard and let it off quickly. I have not noticed it since. Maybe the CR10EK's fixed the problem??
I'm eating mine up only right in front of the rear axle.. I ate the first set in 700miles... installed the new ones... had to tighten the track quite a bit to reduce ratchet... now 1100miles and sliders are on there way out.. kind of pissed me off that Yamaha couldn't out enough wheels the...
I'm 250+ gear.. I have the front limiter set at hole number number three. The rear springs on hard. The rear shock compression on full hard back 4. The ski-shocks compression on 10 and rebound at 3 click from full out.. In the last few hundred miles it it working awesome in the stutters...
Everything on my sled is even all the way around. However the shocks are close to the upper A-arms but even on both sides. I shall call the dealer this week and email him some picts.
Anyone else seeing this? I got stuck the other night in my back yard. I eventually got it out.. and I headed back to the shed with the sled I could tell the belt was hot and as I went to pull away from my un-stuck position the belt just burnt up in one spot. I also burnt a belt earlier in the...
I found this out yesterday. It trenches bad in deep snow. Man is it ever freaking heavy to pull it out of the hole. The snow flap gets right up against the back bumper so its hard to get your hands on it to pull her out. The tunnel is awesome for groomed trail riding.. terrible for really deep...
