believe it or not i am using the snostuff gauntlets and they work great. they're a little shorter then most gauntlets i've seen which makes for good manuverability, but still reach to the back of your wrists and are flimsy enough to not hinder any of the controls. i did have to open them up just...

tors on the wifes sleds been disconnected from the first time it acted up. If I truely felt it was a safety issue it would be functional. i haven't had a sled with it really working properly yet going back to the srv days

i ended up making some bronze bushings and zerked the venture and rx1, the grease doesn't leave a mess as long as uoi're not over filling the chambers. we'll see how they hold up (i'm sure a lot better then plastic) when i look'em over in the spring

i have the offset tool and made an adjustable center to center guage quite a while ago, but had no idea what the the distance is suposed to be. after loosing another belt last weekend with the clutching spot on and the sheaves cool as a cucumber i figure the distance HAS to be off.

what should center to center be? i just checked my manual and it doesn't give me a center to center distance, just the offset. thanks

i'm running the boondocker with filters and jetted to 165 mains at about 2000 ft alt..

just got back, they are definatly rough. hell i was afraid to ride at all aggressive, mostly just putted around, but it was nice to at least take the sled for a little spin ;)! . Hopefully they get some descent snow within the next two weeks so the wife and myself can do our backpack trip. :dunno:
