top looks like like a fcat hood and some other componants with rx front suspension even behind the hood looks like rx plastic. i would also ASSUME it's probably got a genesis engine. so you were there what's up with it? don't keep leaving us in the dark
i'm running power bulbs hid. not sure what you mean about "projector". i can tell you they are much brighter for what i replaced 1 bulb and fired'er up, that side showed quite a difference on the wall. i realize not very scientific, but it works. i have yet to actually ride the sled (just put...
i'm running 1.325 woody's trail studs(be careful as different manufactures measure differently). i found they give good traction in icy corners and such, but don't give the greatest holeshot on glare ice if you're trying to race.
I have a white knuckle qc1 and my bro has a bender. i myself like the sound of the w.k. for what it's a little quieter, but i like the crossover of the bender for what it's an X design vrs. the H design of the w.k.
like everyones saying my bulkhead bushings were wasted (probably due to lack of grease fittings), most of the others were in good shape. i just made new bushings out of bronze oil lite so i hopefully will not be doing this again for as long as i own the machine.
i may go, depending on wether or not i go to the cabin to work on the wifes sled. both the wife and kiddo need some aparrel, so i actually have a reason to go. if i do it'll probably be on friday
i'll have to agree with red on the fact exhaust and filters don't make much a difference for the money spent (probably an honest 5 hp), clutching for your riding style WILL be your biggest nonforced induction improvement for the money. i've been there, i have exhaust, filters, clutching, nos...
i've seen these before on ebay. i myself wouldn't feel safe with how i ride sometimes. i feel the best and most stable way would be longer arms rather then adding a block. just my .02, scott
terry's 'bout right 35-50 lbs last year. had a few 10lber fills then dicided to get a 15lber and went throught that. now both bottles are filled and ready :-o
I think Yamha could build these sleds better
i totally agree. too many problems with 10000 dollar machine. but yes i had the exhaust problem, heard the exhaust leak which progressively got worse when i was on a u.p. trip with some friends. when i got back home i took the sled to the dealer...
I'm running (2) 6 hole nozzles =60 hp. into k+n's. i bought my kit used and it came with them and many other orifices(sp), but those were the biggest in the bag when i got it. i would think you could get even bigger yet from bondockers. not sure if or how much you could safely advance timing...
i'm running 1.325 i'm pretty sure (bad memory) and they actually hit my exhaust shield at the back, actually cut the center out of it. they also might have hit in one of the w arm failures, but i wouldn't go any longer. as far as track, i'm not sure
i'll find out pretty soon. right now the sleds in pieces and as soon as i get the sus. back together i'm pulling the filter. it is kinda weird ,i'm getting the rpm jump and seeing the nos spray from the filters at idle (just tapping the button) but didn't work with a load. i'm thinking perhaps...
Re: boony
i'm running b-dockers 50 hp pill and see 550-600 rpm increase in the winter. i've had problems trying to run it in the summer for some reason although i've only tried once and gave up after leaning it out 3X's for 3 passes
