oil I've ran mobil1 5w30 in mine since 900 miles no problems. not sure on the filter

riser I installed a 1 inch riser, low chrome whinshield,05 seat, and sportech handgaurds on my 03 rx1 easy install and much improved. I think you can run a 2 inch riser but any more than that you'll need a longer cable.

skid I just installed a sc10III skid in my 03 and it is great. I had to revalve the shocks and buy stiffer springs but now it's great. rides and transfers much better than oem skid

sled That sounds like a great deal to me. You will smoke the vipers if they only have clutch kits but piped they run pretty strong. also with the ecp and clucthing you will run right with those srx. you will love the cat skid in there.

sc10 do a search in the rx1 forum or this forum under daverx1 or look for my posts I just installed one in mine with daverx1 measurements

gaurds Very clean install Looks great. I agree this no snow stuff is getting very frustrating

screws make sure your using a #3 phillips and tap on the end with a hammer it might help loosen. :4STroke:

helix I think it's 56/40

skid take the rear bolts out of your suspension it will give you room to get in there.

rattle Mine also was the exhaust donuts off the flex pipes with only 2600 miles It's not to bad of a job.

recall there was a recall on the hood for some rubber stoppers up at the top and one on rivets on the side of the tunnel that could rip your seat.

studs I ran extreme max 1.40 last year with the stock skid. this year I installed a sc10III skid and went with 1.52 extreme max they are just a hair longer than woody's 1.325. I have not rode it yet but don't see any problems.

rattle I just had to change the donuts on mine up off the flex pipes,2600 miles and the 2 outside ones where shot. you'll notice the clamps will be turned to the side not staight across if there loose
