ViperSlammers, bashers or any other ignorant person....

Too bad we are missing the 'likes' - 'dislikes" by members... anyone's post over a certain number be withdrawn. :o| I kind of bleed blue, but I also see a product that is both creative and a seeming combination of the best of both companies' strengths... Can't wait for the real world ride...

    First Impressions - SR-Vipers

I still can't believe it, but I may be interested in this model, once I have read up on actual seat-time comments from my fellow TY-ers. I am kind of on the fence like many of my Yamaha-bleeding folks, but I also like what I see, in that the chassis seems much lighter with a better Y-motor...

When was the last time you checking your bushings

After I broke a bulkhead five years ago, I found out about the bushings. I ordered two complete sets and now try to change them every year before the spring melt with several spare bushings brought along. Mind you, our sledding is quite different. Prior to every trip I take, I always try to...

    2014

I think when I first joined TY, we had a discussion about places to drop weight. I spoke about inventing a direct drive connection from the gear drive to the chain case, doing away with the clutch, secondary and jack shaft. The question was, would it need a wet clutch or transmission to make it...

Bulkhead Repair & Saver Kits. In stock ready to ship.

Nice. Now that the sun is almost returning and I need to take my RX-1ton out of storage, I will probably order after the middle of February as I will be riding March, April, May and June up here in the High Arctic. I am hoping that this is the year I finally replace my original RX-1ton. Happy...

Fitting an AC skid to a RX1

It may be listed under one of the technical posts. From what I recall, other RX-1 owners installed M-7 skids in previous years. Do a search on the site and you should find references to past experiences with different skids on the RX.

The Bravo is back in the US!

It worked in real life.. especially in the far north or snowy parts of Canada and Alaska, plus it always fit the family budget and could take you miles and back...LOL. We have even put a Bravo engine into a broken sled while stuck waiting for parts from the settlement.. they always handle better...

    I REALLY don't get it.

Nice post... I have to agree as well, since it will cost me another four grand to have it shipped up north.. $21K.. LOL.. Guess I will need to slave away for six months just to pay for it...Hmmm .>Apex XTX< RX-E

    2011 Mystery Sled!!!

I concur with those who appreciate the efforts of Tom to pass along his sled review. Many posters just seem to want to look at the negatives and/or bash BB. This is after all, a totally yamaha site, not a general snowmobile site. Thanks for that review Tom, a lot of us are silent but we...

    TEST REPORT PREPRODUCTION YAMAHAS

I found an article that speaks to the power steering EPS? on snowmobile.com and it seems to be quite detailed. Now, I don't know if other models will be unveiled but with respect to more details about the changes to the feel, read the article: Yamaha unveils EPS.

5 MILES INTO THE FIST RIDE AND DISASTER!!!!CKECK OUT PICS!!!

Thanks for the pictures of the ski-don't. As other posters have said, I do not carry my sled, I ride it. That must have been quite the thrill.

    that new sled smell??

Hee hee... Love that tagline, catchmeifucan... The smell did not go away until I had about 2000 kms on it..

Another fine example of your innovative approaches to fixing the issues you face, Joel... Good on ya. I hope to do some of the mods this spring. Thanks for sharing your immense store of knowledge. RX-E
