nope,it was a trailblazer (dont know why i typed trailboss)250-lots of hipo work done though.bike was lightened up tremendously as well.he then sold it and bought a new ranger....now he wants to sell the ranger and buy a harley. :drink:
here's all you gotta do...throw all of of your money at it,spend all your time wrenching on it ,repeat the first 2 scenarios numerous times then realize that its not what you wanted and sell it for a huge loss.your going down a well traveled road young grasshopper :exc:
if you want it faster...
you can get those things to run really well if you want to.do a search on the web of a shop called Aaen or something close to that.they specialize in polaris and that 250 2 stroke can become extremely fast.i saw a friends totally worked over trail boss whoop a piped/carbed banshe race after race...
man, without a schematic your probably on your own.start looking for power with the key on and see wher you lose it.i fixed a friends poolaris and it wouldnt start with the key either,it was a burnt wire in the middle of the harness near the cyl head.good luck.
so whats the dealio with the raptor cam mod?is it just a bolt in replacement with no machine work involved?i would like to think about a 686 kit but i think for my az climate i would need to address the cooling system mods first.
of course this brings me to a question-are you guys just racing...
yep-i had a blast going to the dunes-but its a pretty spendy trip nowadays with gas prices.i had a turbo v-w rail, then my 03' L.E.banshee(just pipes and aircleaners).only rode the shee in the dunes so it never got ridden .sold it on ebay and bought the grizzly.i also have a 400ex.
thats funny,i sold my banshee and bought the grizzly also.i have gotten way more use out of the grizzly than i did with the banshee-my wife calls it the old fat man bike.but im not old or fat, she's just mad because we have kinda quit going to the dunes.
its amazing isnt it-at least you did the right thing and brought them home safely ;)! maybe its a small wake up call to the parents.it could of been a really bad person who tried to help them out ya know.good job ;)!
i just did my own exhaust mod.i removed the spark arrester screen from the main body, then cut it back almost all the way.then weld the 2 stubs together, ground the weld to be smooth and tack weld the screen back into position.pretty easy and got rid of the sputtering sound and has a hint of thump...
more power is always a good thing-the mags surely give the kawasaki's brute force great reviews on the power comparisons.i would think fuel injection would be a great upgrade too.personally i think it's fast enough for its intended purpose-i would take the fuel injection over the larger cc's if...
probably a gasket-maybe a bolt with a copper washer that fell out.not really a big deal-find some one to give it another look-over.dont take it to a dealer$$$$$$ i wouldnt use the rtv, just fix it correctly.
hey..whats that white stuff!arizona no rain for 120 plus days joke :o| seriously though, i like that front bumper/screen set-up.looking good-my grizzly is blue also so you'll have to post pics of your new tires/wheels when you get them as well :bling
ahhh,i see now.thats some serious duty your putting the grizz through :yam: if your breaking only the rear d- shaft then i would be happy.its probably easier to fix than an axle or something internal.just consider it your "fuse" :-o
