also keep in mind that the SE gets a deeper keel ski and more aggresive carbides. All of that really gets this thing to rail in the corners with no ski lift. big, big improvement over 08. i get 120 miles on my nytro per tank, aggresive riding.
i have riden the RTX SE and all i can say is you will not be disappointed. this sled absolutely kicks but in the jumps and moguls. i dont have alot of time on the XP so i cant compare. from what i have read the nytro handles the bumps way better than the XP. you will love the motor also.
if you are looking for a sled that you can just get on and ride and rail the corners i would suggest an apex. the sled is very stable and easy to ride, you will have very few adjustments that would have to be made. i love the apex for a good trail ride and even very aggresive trail ride.
all handling issues have been cured with the new steering geometry. got to ride the se on a ski hill but had some fun jumps and hills to hit. this sled was an absolute thrill to drive. i am no big jumper but the longer i rode this sled the more i could jump higher and higher and not lose any...
i rode the new XTX this weekend in minocqua and what a difference a year makes. I absolutely love the new front end of this sled. I have a 08' Nytro and will be upgrading the parts that are necessary. I talked to one of the Yamaha reps that was there and he said that i would need to buy both...
I heard there is going to be 2 new 09 xtx to demo to the general public in Minocqua, WI. Demos will be Saturday Feb 9th from 9 to 4 pm and Sunday the 10th from 10 to 2. Cant wait to ride this new badboy.
i am farely new to this sight and just bought a RTX. I way 230 with gear and ride fairly aggresive. My biggest Concern is to which clip position i should go with?? also what air pressure in the floats( sitting on the ground)??? Thanks!!!
