I am talking VERY bad gas milage,I have about 38 miles on my sled. Filled it up put 38 miles on it and now the fuel light just came on. I have not been able to trail ride it because lack of snow so what ever riding I have been doing is on all the way then letting it off,Letting it idle shuting it off then again,Going in the feild and giving it hell. Very little trail riding was done. Is there something wrong with my sled or its just because the way I am riding it and they will improve ALOT when I ride on the trails.

I have not seen it that low.... I have 1600 miles on mine and went for a ride today and had over 100 miles when the light came on.

Yea,But I am not trail riding. More or less lake racing,Drag racing most of the time or just "brapping" the gas stuff like that. But 38 miles to the tank?

i have 400 k s on mine and made 130 k til the fuel light came on

seems weird, maybe u gave er to soon before break in period?

i dont know

let me know how it goes

You have only 38 miles on it? I thought I read something about not having WOT when you hadn't reached the break in point, maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, hope you can figure out the problem, if you're saying you don't have much snow, might be worth bringing it to the dealer, having them run a diagnostic. Something doesn't seem right.

OK, so now instead of posting a thread, Go fill it up and see how much it takes... :o|

I am going to fill it up,I am not talking wide open for long time. Quick burts like I was told to do. Then Let off then some other quick burts,Once in awhile I would hold it open for few secs. I was never really at trail speeds.

I can go thru 3/4 of a tank in an afternoon of testing & put on less then 20 miles. All day full throttle runs use fuel.

you can give the sled hell all day and you should still see more than 38 miles to a tank. somethingis not right. fill her up and let us know. i have a hard time believing 38 miles to a tank. i beat the balls off mine and always get at least 80 until i fill it

#1...fill it up and see how much gas you actually used.

#2...put a few hundred miles on the sled, then go for a trail ride and see what it is.

You only have 38 miles and you're doing wide open bursts, of course it's going to suck.

Damn dude, if your not gonna be accurate when you fill your fuel, then don't post on here and waste peoples time with ridiculous threads, you have 38 miles and 345 posts. Everyone on here said fill it Completely up and get your mileage also you need to get the sled broke in, and ride, ride, ride.
