i want to change me jack shaft bearing before it fails,the one behind the driven clutch,i was told that i have to remove the jack shaft completely to do that,is there a way to do it in place?

i was once told that if the indicator in your cluster goes up and down,the wiring is ok so it's probably fine,wait and try it on your first ride
