Nytro XTX's are fast. Much faster than regular Nytros.
When is the last time you cleaned/serviced your clutches? The Nytros will jump you out of the hole but you should be reeling them in throughout the race.
-clean/dry all clutch components
-scuffed (scotchbrite) sheeve faces...
They all seem to differ in location. You will have to look at the schematic to get the wire colours and tell that way. Have a read below and maybe fire a couple searches off to get more info. Make sure you download the free service manual on here as well...
Will this work if the battery is dead??? I do not think this is a battery-less EFI system????
Had a dead battery on my 700 FI Grizzly this summer and it would not run with the dead battery. Had to drive it out with the booster pack attached to the quad until the battery got enough charge. I...
I know that it is for the mountain sleds but that can't stop anyone from buying it and installing themselves. Your warranty is out the window with Boost anyway. Yamaha worded it that if your system causes an issue it will not be a warranted repair.
All I'm saying is I can go buy this kit from...
So MPI basically hung there dealers and re-seller out to dry on the Nytro kit? Still see it listed for $4995 on their site but you can pick it up at a dealership for $3995????????
Hopefully they at least spit on it before they jammed it in their reseller's @$$'.
Hey Guys,
Just interested in any info you guys have on the added occurances of boosted Phazers catching fire due to flex pipe breaking and catching the heat shielding material on fire (as oxymoron as that sounds). There are some other theories out there on the actual cause of the fires but...
If you can spin the stud with a drill, you will get a more uniform sharpened tip. The tool basically holds the stud like a screw on the end of a bit and spins it, then you place it against the grinding wheel at whatever angle you desire. Works Slick as $hit! Need to find one!!!!!!
This is my plan for the Attak once the boost goes on. Already looked at everything and I`ll be moving all my bolt holes back 4" and down 3/8". 8T avids and the drop should let me switch between studded trail and a 1.75" powder track for poleline days and keep the tunnel protectors in.
OK, I know of the tool that you can attach to a drill and sharpen the tips, but I am looking for the one that will attach to a drill, hold the stud by the head and spin the stud so you can place it against a bench grinder and get them razor sharp. Does this stud holding tool exist or just...
Did you try re-installing the so called bad clutch? Could have been a piece of crap lodged between the stub and clutch causing the slight wobble during initial install at Manufacturer/dealer. You may have cleaned it by removing. Take a look at the inside of the clutch where it sits on the shaft...
Props for throwing that pic up and admitting to it. Most would have lied about it.
We all jam shop clothes everywhere and it isn't too hard to forget one. Glad to hear all is well.
