After sitting all summer this is the sound I’m getting. No lights at dash, turns over, I don’t hear fuel pump like I should.. all I hear is thumping which sounds like it might be fuel pump trying to work, coming from front of or in gas tank. Can someone tell me where to look on this please. My son and I have cleaned all the fuses around the battery, when moving the wire harness sometimes we don’t even get the thumping noise. I have not checked the fuse box by the brake caliper but will right after I post this. Also, I realize the battery is low now, I ran it low while attempting to start. It is now fully charged This is the sound

take it all apart=seat off, all panels, air box, batt and box, start looking for the mouse nest. if they chewed through the wrong ones you prob also fried the ecm. if it comes to thhat and thats what you find just swap out harness and ecm from a sled salvage place and be done w it as the season is almost here

Ok, we inspected the wiring harness in front nose and found out... that mice are the devil.... mice have chewed apart what looks like 9 wires..
2 brown
2 blue/black
5 blue
I think I can splice the 2 brown together
Splice the 2 blue/black together..
But How do I know which browns connect and blue /blacks connect? Or does it not matter?
And what to do with the 5 blue?
I tried to look to see if I should try to find a while harness to replace, but it looks like that whole harness would be a bear to change just from trying to track down where all the splits go to. I can’t even see all the ends on some of them. And then where do all the blues connect to if I got a new harness?

thats what the last guy tried to do. do your best and see if she fires up. the wires of same color are the head scratchers i think though. if possible trace back (use ohm meter for proper connections

First of all, do whatever is necessary to get the harness more accessible. It looks like the two brown wires need to be reconnected and then the just connect all the same colour wires together. That plastic square box that the wires go into is just a connector block to join all the same colour wires.Ok, we inspected the wiring harness in front nose and found out... that mice are the devil.... mice have chewed apart what looks like 9 wires..

Lastly, remove the manure pile I see in the picture, so that mice don't want to live there.

There’s 4 brown, obviously 2 wires just cut. Just wondering how I know which brown on one side connects to which brown on the other side? And also which blue/ black to connect to the cut ones on the block. Are you saying it shouldn’t matter which connect?
so just sides all 5 blues together? Where did the 5 wires go to? I can’t find any place that they went to unless they all ended at a block and the bastard mice carried the block away.
yes, I understand about it looking terrible. there was a huge nest in 2 places on the sled. It used to be kept spotless. Due to divorce and the f’d up legal system I lost my nice house, garage, storage, and place to work on, keep my sleds. They went from a nice clean rodent free, warm storage, and decent maintenance, to stored outside, and no place to work on them.

Yep, connect all the blues together. Connect the black with blue tracers together.
Next year throw some moth balls and/or bounce sheets in the sled unless your ex took that stuff too....
