So what do you guy think? It's kind of what I expected. 700 FI Grizz Didn't see the renaming of the Kodiak coming though. IRS Big Bear is cool.

I'll be keeping what I have for a while though. Not enogh there to mke me want to trade up.

700 Griz should be a nice piece.

Likes;
1) New motor
2) Power steering
3) New shift gate
4) New molded front end look

The jury's still out on the "Big black strap" on the air cleaner cover (formally known as the gas tank)

Nope, that's why I bought a grizzly last fall. I was waiting to see what they did with the wolverine, didn't like it, bought a Grizz

Thanks for the link ;)!

No argument on the Grizzly, awesome machine.

I guess I like the new Wolverine as it reminds me of the '03 Kodiak 450 with the straight rear axle. IFS is nice for rock crawling and such but there's nothing like drifting a turn with a staight rear axle.

Would have been nice to have a bit more juice to be more competitive with the Can-Am Renegade but it's the right direction for that type of bike.

That being said, I'm not giving up either of my Grizzly bears. :jump:

That's what I was looking for Steve, a bit more juice. If it had a bigger motor I probably would have jumped at it. I do miss sliding around corners. It's tougher to do on a grizzly. But on the other hand I can pull wheelies now ;)! :jump:

is it me or does the front look look like a polaris?
I'm not sold on this new grizz and thats a shame, I was ready to buy me a new grizz. I have an 05 grizz that gets a lot of time and an 05 raptor that never gets any riding time so im trading it (raptor)in or selling and getting a new grizz so i can have two 4x4 but now after seeing it Im not sure that i want one. i will wait to read more on it. maybe ill take a closer look at the king quad. i quess I was thinking it was going to be a 800 EFI with a more hard core look to it.

I sure wish they would give the consumer a 800...and that naming all the Work Machines Grizzly...thats strange....

The reviews I have read on the Grizz have been very good but I'm not so sure I like the looks of it. Maybe It'll grow on me..... Not sure why they had to drop the Kodiak name. I liked the bear pack theme. I guess in Canada they kept the Kodiak name, go figure.

Glad I have my 660 though. :jump:

Found this on HighLifter, its in France so i cant read a word on the site, but has some really nice pics in Large form. Check It out!!!!

Well hope fully these new machines will be hitting the dealer floors soon. I'd love to see one in person. Wonder how much is the same from the 660 Grizzly. More or less if the frame is the same also mounting points maybe an 02 through 06 could be made to look like a 07, or the rear control arms with the new dual breaks could be added, ect. My dealer will have those stock tires off on the first machine, I'll have to see what they want for them. I could use some new tires for the Old Grizz.

The only thing that I'm wondering about is the electric steering and big tires in thick mud. Maybe I'm wrong in even worrying about it, but I wonder if that would cause to much stress on it, or will the ECM be able to keep up. Oh well, hopefully someone in my area will buy one so I can take it for a test ride. If this electric steering ends up being the cats a$$, it would be cool if you could get one for the older Grizzly's, though watching that video from ATV Scene the ECM for the engine controls the electric steering also.

Well with all the improvments, hopefully there isn't any problems to follow, Yamaha doesn't need that. There is enough people out that that feel screwed they didn't get a bigger Grizzly, or get the V-Twin they all dream about.

I just knew that they would go with the bigger bore and different head. They have finally put the gas tank where it belongs. I bought my 06 because I knew the fuel injection was comming and I wanted to give it some time before spending any of my money on the newest model. It sure does look good though.

The local dealer said he went to Vegas and got to ride one. He said everything on the Grizzly 700 is new, also the power and handling is awesome.
