Disassembled my front end for powder coat and would like to upgrade front end for cheap, if possible. I know there are a ton of kits out there but whats the best bang for your buck? I don't want to spend a crapload of money, like under $400 if possible. The 08's are notorious for darting and mine is no exception so I'm just looking for a nice trail savvy kit to make it more comfortable.

Thanks in advance.

ps. if anyone has anything for sale, send me a pm, im not against used stuff, just kind of leery on used tie rods.

Hygear has an upper A-arm that allows you to ajust the caster and camber in the front end. Works great on my 08.

That's what I was going to say.....good bang for your buck for sure...I think it's just under 400 too

The Hygear a-arms should be a nice upgrade for the 08 and I'll be trying them out next season on my 08 RTX. I wouldn't say the 08's are notorious for darting but I would say Yamaha skis tend to dart if not setup correctly. If you have a darting issue and are running the stock skis, install a set of Stud Boy deuce bars and shim the rear ski rubber or install a set of Curves. If you're going to spend $300 to $400 on the front end put your money into skis first. A-arms/spindles are not going to stop it from darting.

X2.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I dont really want to spend the money on the kit since I will most likely be dumping this one after next season and getting a newer one so i will just have to do some shoulder presses to beat the beast...
