I wonder if having the belt adjusted higher makes it tighter and binds the driveline when you're trying to shift in reverse. Or it's putting more torque even when idling. This could be the equivalent to shifting in reverse while at higher RPM.

move the secondary by hand?? please explain?
I know I'm a wuss... but that sounds a little dangerous while the sled is running!

Yes it can be dangerous! If your just traile riding dont do it. I just do it becaues I never really need reverse.
I grab it form the top side, but if I dont feel like taking of the clutch cover off I will use the side of the clutch and grad the braces. Just stay away from the primary.

I am interested in what you have to say, but it would help if your post was legible...marpolsdofer said:you have to remove the side covers. Mine is set for preformance only. That point has been made about 3X but apparently he doesn't care to make his posts easily readable....just very difficult and time consuming to try and decipher.
