'11 SE slow poke

Looks like I got the bad apple this year (2011 SE), best I can get on GPS is 97mph. Ran it for about 1/4 mile in the best trail condition so far. Have about 1500 miles now, RPMs at 10,400. Only added 153 studs to the track. All else stock. Have notice about a 1/2 inch of area on outer edge of my primary clutch which the belt has not shifted out to. Is that normal? My 06 GT GPSed at 109 and I was expecting this '11 to be slightly better... damn! Any suggestions would be helpfull, thanks.

Forgot, I did add marginal snow wheels to the front rails and added stiffener brackets to the tunnel protectors.

Try different premium fuel. The knock sensor is very sensitive & kicks the crap out of the performance when you get mediocre gas.

I'm right at that 10400 number as well. Sometimes I may hit 10500. I haven't had a chance to wind it out, however. I've had it up to 105 mph on the speedo which averages out to around 102 mph. I need a longer area to stretch its legs, but, I'm still only getting 10400.

I'm in the same boat my dealer is going to take 1gram out of the tip of my weights tomorrow Then I will see what happens.

Not much more hp vs a 2010 and 30 + pounds more difference along with a longer track vs the 121 .
153 studs /snow conditions and 97 mph sounds right on to me !

0 degrees celcuis and no studs, I can just squeeze 112mph. hardpack wfo with no wind i cant say trails have been way to rough to go that fast again. i got lucky that day, a colder day and i shouldnt have a problem getting that again and maybe a bit more

the difference here is how fast these sleds are getting to top speed and staying there hence the wide power band

Well today my dealer took the rivit out of tip from weights and man what a different sled I hit 10,800rpms in 1,500 feet and hit 109 mph I had a hard time hitting 103 mph in a mile befor

Did your dealer take the whole rivet out and leave the tip empty?

Yes he did there was a 2 gram rivit in the tip

Wow, did that make a difference. Zipped up to 110 and had to back down as I was out of room. Had more to give as well. Should have done this a long time ago.
