120 hp twin

a friend told me that yamaha is coming out with a 120 hp twin in the phaser chasis next year. anyone here of this

it's to early to tell, I wouldn't doubt it though. just like I've heard they might do away with the 4 cyclinders and go with big twins/ triples but turbocharged factory.. who knows

u know that phazer 2 up does have a little wider body.... hmmmmmmmm.... fix the ergos to a fx like ditch banger..... hmmmmmmm

I don't think they can fit the triple cylinder in that Phaser Chassis.
Besides it may make the sled to heavy in the nose.
The 450 motor fused together may be the answer, lite weight and 120hp.

well if they dont keep the vector motor i will be buying a lot of used machines...tahts forsure cuz this motor is solid and so smooth...makes the apex feel rough at idle..and makes the phazer...well lets just say i have never ridden a big bore twin but there is a lot of viberation. i called it the nut tickler cuz it viberates right around the gas cap and at the handlebars

I would think a bigger twin would be the next step. The 3 cylinder engine would be heavier, they say it dosn't fit, and it doesn't sound that good.
