How reliable is a self cut track anyhow?
a few seasons and no issues on a used track that already had a hole in the middle of it!!
I have had my track cut down since 2008 with no problems what so ever.

wow, sounds like it really works....I was always under the impression that cutting tracks would mess up the integrity of the track itself.

kind-of an off subject comment here quick but do you like the gas tank panels removed like that?
i've thought of getting rid of mine as they are just getting beat up and ugly looking.
i still have to extend my tunnel too

I've honestly never paid attention to those, I think my sled never was produced with them. I have used this sled all last season and like it without those funny looking panels forsure. It's all personal opinion IMO

I'm with you on that. I just pulled a full day doing that track extension. Replaced both driveshaft bearings. All idlers and bearings. I got a wood stove in my shop so it's super good 68 degrees in it Atm! Gonna try and extend the tunnel by this week. cannoehead is sending me dimensions tomorrow!
