13 mm sway bar installed with lotsa pics

Machzed, what did you do exactly to lower your RTX like in your avatar? Pulled the strap down 1, How much air pressure in the floats? What are you running on the RA adjuster when dragging other sleds...sofetest? Thanks!

for everyone asking i have the stock ski's with dually runners so far i have the transfer set in the middle left the strap alone for now and reduced the front preload a bit (after reading maczed i may drop it further)
i put 200 or so km on today (about 124 miles for our friends south of the border) and i didn't notice any harsher ride, just better cornering but taking the preload off the fronts will soften it a bit with the bigger bar taking up the slack on cornering duties, never had to fight the sled and i went around just about every kind of sled today in the twisties :yam:

hello..

In my avatar I was radaring on our track all day...and dropped front end down really low..i beleive it was 10 lbs(with no load)...dont ever ride it anywhere that low!..LOL.

I tightened my limiter strap one hole the day i got sled...i run max transfer,i like to hookup.

RA adjuster I run fairly firm,as you know the mono is silky smooth and can bottom easily..depends on the trails....I did have to UP the spring setting somewhat also underneath to second from top knotch.

Thanks Dan. I love the fact we can drop the front by using our Floats. Right now I'm running around 55 psi. I'm tightening the strap 1 notch tonight and already have my transfer set a little past max. I have excellent holeshots, but want it a little lower. I going to order the 13 ml sway bar as well. I just installed my 13 mm sway bar from PP. Things went good. had a bit of a hard time lining up the bar to the arm. had to give her a little spread , then poof , shes in. I only had enough time to ride it home so can't say to much but you can sure tell she corners way better. I am happy with this product.
p.s any one want to buy a stock sway bar. hahahahaha

I've installed a 13mm on my '05 RX1 with big improvements, the trade off is it rides harsher in stutter bumps by quite a bit, it really gets you in the arms after a while and on hard packed snow w/aggressive set up on front skiis its harder to steer.

The other trade off is be very carefull if you go off trailling, like jumping drifts or powder riding it doesn't handle the same at all! make sure if you're jumping drifts you hit them nice and square on or else hang on your bars! the transfer from side to side is a lot more noticable.

All that said, I'd say its worth every penny unless your just a scenery or tourer rider keep her stock.

The other thing if you install a 13mm bar turn your preload on your front shocks right down (loose) I find it handles even better and rides a little smother.
