Well, if we are coordinating this in conjunction with the Villiage Rental Demo ride they used I believe the Fly Creek trail for the Demo ride last year. That would be as good a starting point as any. Perkins Clearing is usually a good ride. However I am hopeing to venture into the Long Lake/Sabattis area this year I have some friends that have camps up there. Darrin from ILSNOW is more well versed on the trails that can be reached from the Speculator trail system as is Rick from Villiage Rental I am sure.

I think starting out in Speculator seems to be the best idea. Should be plenty of space, to stay, and plenty of ridding for multiple groups if necessary. What do you think Snow D.O.?

Spent all day in Speculator y'day "helping" Lance to put the beast together. When all was said and done, the shock came in from Ohlins via UPS at lunch: installed, as was the Ice Ripper. I do believe that I am set. Now have to install Power Madd hand guards with mirror kit, Skid Plate, Shock Covers, GPS mount, Bergstrom skegs, shims and ski savers.
Also talked to Rick about getting a Yamaha Demo Day scheduled and trying to coordinate a TY ride with the demo day. Tom (Mr. Sled) told me that he may be able to secure an exclusive block of time during the demo day for TY members only.
I will try to get in touch with both Rick and Tom and try to firm up some dates so we can plan at least one TY Ride.
I have also posted this on ilsnow.com and as such, we will likely have a Non-Yamaha contingent and I hope that's ok. My feeling is that all are welcome to join in on the ride, but if Tom comes thru and can arrange for us to have an exclusive block of time for the demo day, that will be exclusive to TY Members.
Any other ideas on rides would be welcomed. Saw a post for western NY TY Ride and I would really love to see how things are done out there and I would consider driving anywhere in the Northeast for a ride, right Mongo1?
