Been a great sled for 12 years. Today it started to run fummybthen quit. Retired and as soo as you gave it gas would die when giving gas.
Fuel pump cycles. One thing I noticed was when I cycled key with fuel cap off could hera fuel running in tank. Is this the return fuel ?
Also if i remove belt engine will rev up to 10000 rpm no issue as soon as belt is on clutches when you rev to take off dies. Tried it twice belt on and off same results 2 times. I dont have a volt meter with me to see if I have charging issues. It's not a Tors issue as it dies when giving throttle
Any thoughts?

Pulled sled apart last night. you guys were correct. Drive axle earing is hooped, took out sensor

I've heard of them putting up code but not killing engine altoggether

It was only 2 years old and I repacked before I installed

Did have a 20 km mud road we ran last spring, guessing got full of water/dirt and then sat in there all summer

Going to have to service this bearing in spring before I put in storage this year

thanks for your help guys

End of each season repack all bearings in skid wheels, driveshaft and jackshaft and will never replace a bearing ever again. 8k on my Apex's on the original bearings. My son had 14k on his RX when we sold it by following this service of the bearings each year.

repack that bearing every fall before the season and the one on my 11 made 11000mi before it cut the race in 1/2 on it when it failed. i repack the skid bearings on my main trail sleds every year. the other sleds i check and repack when needed as they are not ridden as much. they seem to get 2-3 seasons in the aux/back up sleds before they need attention.

It’s a $30 bearing, all of my rides get a new one every fall......just say’n.

when i get one with the tin sheilds, yes i replace it every year or 2. the rubber seal ones i check and repack every year. gets not cheap when you have to pre season 6 sleds every year at minimum for myself.

They would last way longer if they had that moisture protection seal with drain like the Winder has in there.
