It was another successful ride and I can't thank you all enough. While Brian told me "things are little ratty this year", I firmly believe he and Margaret did another
outstanding job in organising this event. I just wish he worked for United Airlines as I had plane problems and just got home this morning.
Brian, hats off to you for your flexibility in allowing others to peel off from the group to log miles. You also did pretty well with the weather. 8)
Bver Fever, thanks again for taking Impalapower, BigGuy, and I for the 300 mile loop on Monday. Hopefully Dave has recovered and is now in the market for a Yamaha.
Impalapower, thanks for being my riding buddy and it was a blast riding the 1600 miles in 7 short days on some of the best trails in the world.
BigGuy, while you may be from Mars, your sense of humour is priceless.
Reaper, I expect next year that you will learn to keep pace with the rest of us and not fall so far behind. Great riding with you but man was it cold that evening.
Kmer, the reason Convert stayed with you this year is that you kept taking unplanned journeys into the bush.
Sasquatch, I still think that moose thought was scared of you when he went off into the woods.
Bluedog, next year you get a room away from mine as I don't need the wake call via pounding on the wall at 00:30, 02:30, and 06:30.
For those on the fence about doing one of these rides, they are a must. Simply put, the TY members are all class acts and there is not one bad apple in the bunch. It doesn't matter where they are from or what they do for a living, everyone is super and a real pleasure to meet. They will help each other out when problems arise. Only 51 weeks until we all meet again.
