no4smoke, I'm serious. Yamaha uses the cabin I stay in several times a year. They come up to the UP from Minoqua when the snow isn't too good at their test site. We are good customers of a dealer up there. It's his personal cabin and doesn't rent it to many people. He owns a bunch of land around it too. Last year Yamaha left a bunch of beer and pizzas in the fridge/freezer.(thanks Yamaha) They must of called him the day before they came. The dealer said..."I've got renters at the cabin"..so he asked us to please leave them alone. When they arrived they showed at the dealer first while we were there filling up with gas. When we went back to the cabin, they had parked in our driveway and we had to ride by them. They kept their sleds on the far side of their trailer towards the woods. We respect the dealer and we kept our promise. I suppose I could have snuck through the trees and snapped a photo, but that would of PO'd the other guys in my group if I ruined it for all of us. We like it up there and look forward to going there every year.

Journeyman is telling the truth. I've been up in the same area many times and also talked to the owner of the dealership and the cabins. Yamaha likes to test there because the private land that the cabin is on. Many times they test there and never even go out on the public trails.
Later in the year after they unvail the new model year you will cross paths with them out on the trails because they like the beat up trails to dial in the shocks. Eric

Journeyman, was not trying to say that you werent telling the truth just surprised you could be that close to the new action! Its sounds like you have a good thing going and you are obviously smart enough not to ruin it!! Thanks for the great post and helping with the excitement and buildup of the new sleds coming our way!!

Shaf said:Why wait til 2008 when you buy a REV now
The more i look at the Phazer the more it looks like a REV, borrowed technologies to say the least minus the engine.
Not funny, this will cause problems in the future. Keep these intelligent comments to yourself.

I actually thought it was pretty cool how his comment was virtually ignored!! It shows that most here are too intelligent to get caught up in that stuff.

I've stayed at the same cabin jouneyman. Don't let the cat out of the bag on where it is. It's hard enough getting it once a winter right now. Definately a neat cabin and setting.

Our rep was in today, he wouldn't tell me a thing about it, nothing, but there is an all new sled out this year from yammi, i think we all pretty much knew that, but just some reassurance, yamaha isn't going to sit still for a year.
