I bought a cheap stainless one off ebay. 2.5" inlet and dual 2.5" outlets. Which will be mounted farther back toward the end of the tunnel then most kits.
I will install turnouts directly off outlets on muffler which will be pointed out toward the bottom edge of the tunnel. Went dual outlet to see if it will quiet it down. Also if i get buried and the exhaust tries to plug I have two ways for the exhaust to go instead of one.

The homemade tunnel block off is coming along. Went to a local sheet metal place and they cut me the measurements I had. Perfect fit just been taking my time marking and drilling all the OEM holes and then measure out for the extra rivet holes to securely tie in the plate.

okay. Because i have the muffler that came with my mcx turbo kit and i have it mounted in the far back of my tunnel. but if i drive down and up again from a narrow ditch the track will rub on it. Its not a big problem but i like to get the sled more quiet so i think i will try the muffler you linked to earlier(the one with in/out on the same side)

I am still in the design process of the exhaust setup and I'm still torn on where in the tunnel I want to put the muffler.

Bought a pneumatic rivet tool so when I'm ready to attach the panel it will be done right and not to mention easier lol.

Got the rest of the rivet holes drilled today in the plate and in the chassis. Decided on doing the holes as close to 3 inches apart as I could. I measured the rivet distance on the stock rivets and decided that was close enough. Still waiting on the exhaust this week.

Your build looks really familiar, lol
I did an under tunnel exhaust on my xtx a few years ago, worked out great until I put the 1.75" track on. Hope you have better luck with it.
Great job on the sled, keep the progress pics coming, love sled builds!

Unfortunately I am scraping the under tunnel exhaust because of the eventual clearance issues with the 1.75 track which i plan on going to later. I am going to figure out a low space on tunnel exhaust option
