2011 apex se lacking power

Bud you have problems there, that spring will bind big time.

Not sure what the marks are. I seen them too and thought just a poor casting and clean up at the factory. And the spacing between the spring on your pic looks big compared to mine. I can fit a #2 Robertson tip between mine. View attachment 114389
What kind of aftermarket helix is that? Maybe it is the wrong spring for that helix. In the pic the angle looks steeper than stock. That looks like the wrong spring also, should have only 5 coils instead of 6. Thought your sled was stock?

It is stock. If anything is different on it, it was changed at manufacture or at dealer and nobody told me otherwise. I got it a year old in the crate and seen them bring the crate in

I'm thinking that's what's happening and am gonna talk to the dealer today. Hoping someone that has a clue will answer the phone

The part # for the helix on my 2012 XTX is 8fA-17604-00-00. I checked & they use the same helix for your 2011 se. Let us know what the dealer has to say.

ONE OF YOUR KIDS MADE CHANGES AND DID NOT TELL YOU .LOL:)

After reading that you reassured us that your sled was stock I went to the garage to check mine. I made a mistake, I thought my stock helix looked like steiner 's but that's what my aftermarket one looks like! My stock one looks like yours, (aside from the grind marks)

I even took a pic of the stamped part #! Sorry for my error!

Took the sled for a rip today. Feels better on the hard pack snow but hookup is an issue lol. It wants to get up and go but feeling it break loose. Not a big deal might upgrade to bigger track. I noticed a big difference when I went to the 1.5" ripsaw on my 07. Had it up to 130 km today and that was all I could take with just a jacket and runners. Felt like it had lots left to go but Won't know if it's totally 100% until I find some deep powder if we ever get any.

Sled was too fast.. They were trying to take a little off the top by clutching. Apparently it was that guys first day and took it literal.

its factory balanced lol;)!
Ha. Let's hope it gives that jack shaft bearing a lil more life
