2013 new chassis

Typo on the base Nytro MSRP I am sure. Probably supposed to be $14199....

I will have to take back my comment. According to Chris Reid,
"Regarding the Nytro pricing the base model has had the MSRP reduced significantly, well over 2000$ (I think it’s closer to 3)"

Pretty significant reduction! I still dont understand how the RTX could be $3500 more.....

I think they should have made a 250 4stroke intermediate size sled and called it the snow scoot.

As far as the rest of the line up, just think of the great resale value of our current sleds, lol.

As much as I love Yamaha and it's reliability, I'm very disappointed AGAIN with the line-up for 2013! I guess Yamaha is happy with #4 in market share. For a company that has been driven by making improvements to anything that has to do with "Racing", they just can't seem to incorporate any of that passion into their snowmobiles. Crap or get off the pot.......

What a joke, 10lb weight reduction on the base Nytro. They put non reservior shocks on it!
To even mention a weight reduction created by cheaper shocks is just another offense towards the customers.
An offense about as big as hyping the XTX 1.75" as a new sled...
On all the quad forums they blasted yamaha for releasing the 2012YFZ450 with the old steel frame and cheaper shocks but i bet it will sell like hotcakes(it got honda so worried they brought back the TRX450R in canada for the same price).Everyone complains that prices keep going up but yamaha made a big price reduction on a brutally powerful sled that is there best seller(only wish it came with the new race front end). Its survival mode right now and the ones with the least amount of inventory will win,and those who overproduce will suffer. Not really smart to release new bling when the bottom line tells you no.Its a longterm plan by yamaha. One that is affect by one of the most unpreditable factors in our lives,WEATHER.Just be grateful there still around because i hate to be on a sled forum reading post about why yamaha left the sled game.

You're glad and disappointed at the same time - must be hard on the emotions! ;):D
I'd say you would have been more disappointed if Yammie came out with something new :tg:
