I dont understand all this cloak and dagger secrecy stuff.

I can understand their standpoint. I wouldn't want to release a factory FI set up with my name on it that isn't 100% complete and tested.

The clutching, suspension and engine tuning aren't even dialled in yet, so it would be pretty difficult to tune forced induction set up

'cause they can't say "yeah, we are working on one, not sure if its actually going to be released or not"

How about the apex motor in a cat. could be the new thundercat?

Why would they do that when they already have a motor pushing 180hp that they have had great luck with?

because they are about done with suzuki motors, meaning no more 1100 turbo for them pretty quick here

Anyone else notice how cheap the buttons and plastic feel and look on the viper compared to others not made by cat? Kinda nervous about my viper falling apart.

Looked fine to me and I was just recently at the plant for a tour. I follow the cat forums closely and those are not the mentioned issues with there sleds. I am not worried.

I see no worries , I also follow the cat forums , for the last 2 years and falling apart is not one of them
