Regarding the Yamaha promotional catch phrase "A snake that doesn't constrict ... Yet still takes your breath away"

Wondering if the "Industry first" is a clutchless drive system, as in no CVT constricting or squeezing a belt.

You think Yamaha is slow in changing their sleds you should own a Royal Star Venture they have not changed it since it came out in 1999. We have 2001 and it is just like the 2013 model. It still has carbs and a cassette player,so their sleds are improving way faster than the motorcycles are. So consider yourselves lucky, thought I would just share this bit of information.

You know its rectangle shaped and has a narrow tape that goes from one reel to the other reel and WHEN you put it into this little machine music comes out.

Its not hard to keep things a secret when there is nothing new. If they are just using Cat's chassis, then the "secret" is sitting right in front of our eyes...and isn't much of a secret at all!
