Lots of talk about price, anybody see the price of the Cats? Almost 9,000 for a 500. That's nuts. I know we all want the latest and greatest stuff but all the bullshit we asked for raises the price to ridiculous levels. 16,000 for a top of the line sled. They can't be stupid (Yamaha) or they'd a been out of business long ago, if they have a "game changer" where is it and what is it? If you're in this type of business don't you play to win? Or are you in for what others have said, help the dealer network? Whatever the reason, people are willing to check out to another brand, hell with 2 months to ride, why not check out another brand.

What we've asked for has nothing to do with the price of snowmobiles. If all 4 manufacturers were still making 2004 model sleds the current prices today would still be the same today. I heard
that the REV XP is a less expensive chassis to produce than the original REV. Just because technology improves doesn't mean it costs more to produce.
