it is my belief that the reason the brake disks get stuck on removals is because they are not beimg pulled off straight.
I believe if you dont pull perfectly straight it will bind.
I have read quite a bit about it on the ac forums.
I think once it binds your screwed so the trick is slow steady and straight
Just my opinion. Once i actually get to remove one im sure my opinion will change some. Lol.
Good opinion, but that shaft does rust. I just took one off last week that had been on for about 1k miles and there was enough surface rust that I ended up using a bunch of "Liquid Wrench" to get it free. My new Viper it pulled off very easy but again no rust on that one.

I have read about guys not being able to remove them on brand new sleds with 0 miles.
Not saying rust does not happen on new equipment, just saying i believe the issue is more than rust.
Like i said once i get the opportunity to disassemble one i am sure my opinion will change.
