I am a little concerned about this single rail track/suspension hitting the groomed trails, in Grand Marais area there we several snow-bikes ridding and rutting the groomed trails.
The Alpha One will be a terrible "trail sled" and should only be purchased by off trail powder riders. It's going to be tippy on trails, be hard on the track and rutting soft trails could be an issue.
With that said, there will be plenty of flatlanders that will purchase it to project an image so you'll see them on trails. I don't see it working well for that use, but they will look like a cool "sledneck" on it.

I think that mono rail is an excellent idea...for the mountains.
iACT looks promising, hopefully that comes on the Yamaha’s as well

I haven’t been shocked and awed yet with Doo and Cat’s releases. Not that I was expecting much but now I expect very little with Yamaha too.
SW was big last year, stands to reason a much quieter release this year....BNG could be it.

I agree, would be interested in an IACT version of a Sidewinder, as a possible "upgrade" from my Apex. Just leery of all the belt issues I am reading about on the SW Forums!

This is a 15" wide track like what you are probably running yourself. No reason is should auger a trail any more than a current mountain sled.
I don't think you will have to concern yourself with it on the trails, other than the few mountain wannabes. Most off trail guys in Michigan only ride a small amount of trail to get to the stashes anyway.

The monorail track is 15" wide, and that is a full inch wider than a Phazer XTX. Shouldn't be an issue.

For The Win, sometimes used sarcastically as in ,stickers and paint should be enough. Right?!!
But Follow The Winder works too

I just don’t see them bringing back the SRX, I suppose it has been 20 yrs for the 99s out there, would be cool to see but I think it’s just gunna be the basic every yr release of new looks to current models.

You must of not seen the teaser 2019 drag race video of a sidewinder against an SRX in the other thread.

Cross tour gone from Cat lineup! That was the only one other then the T-Cat I was interested in. Yamaha probably dropped it as well!
