I wouldn't call it "to good to be true" unless its a Yamaha only lighter carbon frame material as it was rumored.I did see that, too good to be true?

Cross tour gone from Cat lineup! That was the only one other then the T-Cat I was interested in. Yamaha probably dropped it as well!
Hey that's the one with the extra tank in the back connected in series. I always though that was a huge advantage especially with the Sidewinder 200+hp thirsty throttle. Beats a portable tank if you ask me.

I just don’t see them bringing back the SRX, I suppose it has been 20 yrs for the 99s out there, would be cool to see but I think it’s just gunna be the basic every yr release of new looks to current models.
20 Years since the introduction of the SRX. Sounds like a good reason. And just to be straight, I'm not going to go and order an $18K retro throw back. But you can bet your butt, I would consider one in two years when it is in my price range. Just like I am at a 2017 LE model in Yamaha racing blue.
Heck, before the Apex, the SRX had a legion of cult followers almost as big as the Apex. And that was just a few year run. Bringing back a nameplate like that, really does test the loyalty of owners for sure. Those white spindles, and white coil overs and all Yamaha Blue.
The fact that the Thundercat was just released lowered and with performance enhancements, you know that is what will be in store for the SRX. Of course all of us will hope that the blue one will be just a little faster. You also know that the ACT suspension will probably be in there as well. What it needs over the original SRX is air bags. Not firm or soft, but bump height and drag strip!! Then we won't have to swap out the skid for a viper skid (that's an SRX joke for the young'ns)
Look at it this way, this also leaves the door open for them to bring back Apex in 2026!!

Very well said. SRX is a serious part of Yamaha history. To me, that new Thundercat is the biggest hint to what's in the teaser video.

Today I was at my local park that has mountain/fat bike trails, cross country skiing, dog park, horse trails....etc.
They were grooming the ski trails with 2 new Ski Doo utility snowmobiles with 900 ACE motors. When I got home I looked them up and compared what Yamaha had. Over 13K for a Yamaha with a 4s and just under 10k for the Ski Doo. Can see why they chose the SD.
Come on Yamaha, you are supposed to be leading the 4s game.

The closest thing Ski Doo has now is the 900 Ace Turbo at 150hp. Did you check the price jump?! 17 grand Canadian.

It's times like this that I wish Chris Reid still had that Sled Talk blog. He would create so much more buzz and add fuel to the fire by dropping hints here and there.

Correct but I am sure they sneak one on there for a short stretch. The stretch from Twin Lakes on trail 3 a bit north and a bit south is popular just off the trail and around the power lines for boondocking. It's always the stretch that is the roughest too. The combination of mostly lake effect sugar snow that doesn't pack well and all the deep paddle tracks it can turn to garbage in a hurry. Glad the snow bikes are not allowed IMHO.

Rumor over on Facebook from a couple guys is that ‘19s are snow check preorder only. I don’t know if that’s just their dealers doing that, a special edition model or two, or the entire line. I suppose it would make sense if there is still a lot of old inventory to clear out. It’s just a rumor, but something a couple different people said.
