Just measured the front shock center to center of the eyes is 12 1/8" roughly installed length and it looks like there is another hole in the limiter straps but don't know yet if that will over extend the shock yet!
I believe I measured mine right around the 12” mark center to center on my Elka Stage 5’s which I have had since my ‘14 Viper LTX. Your bolt in the limiter strap is one hole from all the way out?

It would be interesting to see how much more extension your front shock has in last limiter hole.

I just put my qs3 in my SE and decided I had to know if I could loosen the straps. And the shock is 12.5" long with the straps lose. Looks like I can drop the straps to the last hole as it'll still compres the shock somewhat. About 3/8"

I was a bit off when I first measured my Elka Front Shock. It does measure around 12.45" center to center. So looks like the shocks are the same length from '17 - '20's. The geometry change in the rails must account for the longer limiter straps.

I doubt it, part # for rails stayed the same but shock did not. Did you measure your stock shock ,maybe Elka is longer.
It’s pretty common for the aftermarket shocks to be longer. My Axis is.I doubt it, part # for rails stayed the same but shock did not. Did you measure your stock shock ,maybe Elka is longer.

Definitely a change in rails between '19 and '20's. Here are two pics. First is '19 and second is '20. The '20 seems a bit flatter in front where the rails curve up. Angle of the limiter straps look to be at a different angle slightly. I'm sure there is others subtle changes.

You would think they'd have more curve seeing as they would drop out more! So they don't stab the windows.

Part# for the front arm scissors is exactly the same between '19 and '20.

On the 2019, the limiter strap looks different because it's not limiting. The shock is topped out giving the limiter strap a little slack.
The changes do appear very subtle. Will be interesting to see how it performs side by side.

Correct. The Limiter straps on '17-'19 are a 1/2" shorter than the limiter strap on the '20's.
So you do have ‘20 limiter straps on your ‘20 rails? If so there is appears to be more travel/ rail pressure with the ‘20 rail geometry and ‘20 limiter strap because the longer limiter straps are tight versus slack with shorter straps.Correct. Yes, I do have the “20 limiter straps on in the picture with the ‘20 rails.

It's not good to have the shock stop the travel. Limiters should be limiting travel or the shock will pull apart eventually!
