just got back from the first ride with the new 20 spindles and upper arms on a 17 XTX - very nice - didnt touch the rear and was worried about it acting funny or not hooking up but no bad issues - seemed to do everything better - didnt do many hole shots so didnt study that much. got the spindles for a little over 100 each and upper arm assembly with end for 60 each - u also need to order upper arm bushings nuts and bolts as the bolt and bush diameter is a smaller size or - i drilled out the new arm upper mount holes and used 17 hardware and repainted arms, they weren't painted very well, happy with this setup - cyclepartsnation.com is ziegler in k zoo... so under $350 for the whole deal - also ordered straps but havent messed with rear yet.. looks like shock, straps and front skid arm is a little different i think but im running mine as is for now... new spindles raise the front 1.5" - totally needs it..!

So it appears the upper idler wheel mounting location may have changed as well on the 2020's. Looks like it is in the bottom hole now. Can anybody confirm who has a 2020 LTX tell me which hole the bolt for the upper idler wheel is mounted? I read someplace on FB there was a bulletin sent to the dealers about the setup for the 2020's.
Anybody confirm.
Here is a picture I had found.

Interestingly when I was at the dealer Open House I asked this question and they all looked around in circles with "we have no idea" faces.
I asked them what differences the holes made because among the 2020s there some where in the top hole and some were in the bottom hole. No photos. Then last week when I picked up my sled from warranty service I was discussing the '20 front end and the dealer mentioned the skid hole location change.

Very interesting indeed. I wonder if there was a bulletin posted or not regarding this. I am starting to look through various threads for people that received their 2020, and it's looking like the bottom hole is being used. Hmmmm.
There was a bulletin. Will get it today.

Yes for sure. Thanks Cannondale. Notice the two bullet points as well?!?
So looks like the rails certainly changed in 2020 to support the new ARCS front-end.
