Awesome! I think it is legit...KYB is a Yamaha owned company and as far as I can tell not readily available for the Pro-Climb/ALPHA. I am hoping and dreaming this is the 2020 Mountain Max, 880 HPDI. I'll snowcheck my first sled if so..

So if Yamaha buys out cat and the rights to there designs, manufacturing and dealers would they still be cats to you??? What if a new design comes out after the buyout and it’s manufactured in Yamahas (cats old plant)plant in Thief River Falls is it still a cat to you??? Will a true blue Yamaha have to be manufactured in japan...

Could be outstanding if new Yamaha 2s engine! Embarrassing if a Yamaha with AC 2s 800 engine. Yamaha can’t be that dumb to sell an AC chassis and engine with BNG Yamaha stickers. Ugh!!!!!

Why not makes perfect sense, TY/Yamaha faithful said they wanted a new sled Yamaha gave them a Viper and a Sidewinder. TY/Yamaha faithful want a two stroke Yamaha gives them a two stroke. You have to careful what you ask.

Wrapped Cat Alpha, you probably wouldn't see to many Polaris sleds at Yamaha's testing site, Yamaha would never leak a full picture of a new model before release or a teaser Vid, I would say this guy is having some fun with the frustrated Yammie guy's dream wish list, he is probably having a good laugh at our comments.

Sorry to burst your bubble guys, but that’s a Race Works sled with a yamaha-looking wrap.

The one kicker that proved it was not a Yamaha was the word Genesis. Yamaha would never allow a two stroke engine to be named Genesis. That was reserved for the line of Yamaha 4-stroke engines only. It goes against all that the term was used for. So, this is not a yamaha design.

That doesn’t mean one may not be in the works, this just isn’t it.

Lord help us all if we ever see a Yamaha branded machine with a Cat engine. From a company that calls itself an engine builder.
I don’t even want a new Yamaha 2-stroke. Why? To save a few pounds and have inferior power, smoothness, reliability and sound to a Sidewinder/Apex?
I’ll take the 998t or 4-cyl in a new purebred chassis- with the Yamaha quality and finishing that the Apex has. The only 2s I would even consider is a state of the art 3-cyl.

At first i thought no way. But the more i sit and ponder, the more i feel like its what we have all come to expect from big blue. The same old chassis with a bunch of new parts thrown at it every few years. I dont care about a 2 stroke. If it comes then i hope it makes them enough money to design us a new chassis!
