I get your concern and why you were on /off/ on again. I’m not purchasing a snowmobile this year because I bought last year BUT I’m currently all out spending on home improvements. Sometime soon there will be shortages on all manufactured products due to shelter at home mandates. So far the trades are busy and working but at some point back orders of materials will cause slow downs. Imo very little risk to buy a sled now the question is if TRF can get the parts to continue mfg schedules as usual. Time will tell but delivery time is your only risk imo.You all here are like family so value your opinion.
I had stated I was buying a new Venom Mountain. Worked it out with my dealer and friend at TA Motorsports. Then with this Corona I backed out. Well after thinking it over I am in again. It’s not Sidewinder $ and I feel all our $ will be worth less after this is over. That makes buying now a deal. I also want all businesses to survive. Doing my small part for Yamaha and Cat. All this and I really want one for fun and shock development. I understand why they haven’t extended offer. Less demand so should be able to meet it. Is it stupid to buy something now or smart?

If you have a large emergency fund and can ride out this storm ( a storm nobody knows when ending), and can truly afford it then go for it...if you have to finance it then I would wait, you can always get one when the storm passes...and you know there is always a deal when these sleds don't sell. I bought a 2020 SW and still saved a nice chunk off of full retail.
I'm glad I bought the SW before the full effect of this virus hit because I would not be buying a sled with the financial situation for the future is unknown. I paid cash for my sled, all my toys and cars are paid for in cash, only then is it a devaluing asset..that sounds like an oxymoron but just the way I feel about it. I agree whole heartedly in the fact you only live once...you need food on the table to live though...if you can afford it then by all means get it...only you know the answer to that and if you have support of your wife then the purchase will not effect your personal life. Nothing is more expensive than problems with the other half lol...been there done that lol. Good luck with your decision. Joe

I do wish Yamaha would extend the offer for a month. Things economic wise are happening quick. Will definitely know whether a different job is in future within a month and know I can make some $ on this sled developing suspension. Will be paying cash but plan on taking the year of financing since it’s 0%. I would bet all these companies will be extending their offers for some amount of time. They must be low on orders and hoping that consumer confidence changes abit the further we push through this. All companies marketing teams are probably hard at work trying to create sales through programs that look like they are helping the cause. I see that Ford is "helping" us during this time by deferring your first 3 payments and making the next 3 payments for you so that you can get into that new truck. Marketing spin at its finest.

I believe Polaris extended their snow check till May. I heard 0% financing for 3 years along with a 4 year warrantee.I would bet all these companies will be extending their offers for some amount of time. Yes. May 1st in Canada. Two offers: 0% for 4 years with 2 year warranty or 6 months no payments, 5 months interest free and 4 year warranty. Interesting. I bet they all extend until end of MayI heard that Polaris extended their program into May. 0% interest for three years and a 4 year warrantee.

Are you developing a new sled suspension? I'm not much up on the mountain sleds, with my knee, going off trail is a bit risky...as if sledding is ever safe..oh well.
I've been listening to the financial news all morning as I do this quite a bit...it's not a rosy outlook...some even say the recovery is not going to be as quick as the politicians say. The specialists on this virus keep moving the scale on personal protection..so there is nothing really credible in the news.
I'd love to get a cabin up in Maine, ...I have a feeling prices are going to drop on vacation homes and cabins.
