I would think they would HAVE to refund the deposit.
It would be nice if they did something for those who got their order cancelled, maybe a reduced price on a 2023......

i would definitely think they’d refund their deposit if that’s what the person wants or give them the option to let it ride for next seasons pre-order.I would think they would HAVE to refund the deposit.

I’m thinking some who get their orders cancelled and left with nothing, more than likely won’t be buying that brand again next season. Time will tell.

Maybe, but other manufactures are no better off. I think Polaris is in the biggest bind according to the dealer around here.I’m thinking some who get their orders cancelled and left with nothing, more than likely won’t be buying that brand again next season

I have not heard or read of any Polaris pre-order people getting a call about their sled being cancelled, just late deliveries so far (Feb,Mar) unless you seen something different. And yes you are correct. all brands are struggling this year with meeting delivery of snow checked sleds.Maybe, but other manufactures are no better off. I think Polaris is in the biggest bind according to the dealer around here.
I can’t wait to see what the manufacturers are going to charge for a fee for 2023 sleds next season.

Former Yamaha sleds:
2004 Venture 600 2002 SX Viper 700
1997 Vmax 600 SX 1994 Vmax 600 1989 Exciter
1986 Vmax 540 1986 Phaser 1981 SRX 440
Getting told I would not be getting a sled till March would be as bad as being told it is canceled. Season is over by then for the most part. At that point I would rather take a chance at getting a 2023.I have not heard or read of any Polaris pre-order people getting a call about their sled being cancelled, just late deliveries so far (Feb,Mar) unless you seen something different. All depends on if that person has a sled to ride all winter in its place. If not, there could be the good possibility of going without riding for 2 seasons. I kept my ‘20 XRS 900T as a second sled to ride, so if my new one doesn’t come in till March I’ll be sad but I’m ok with that because I spent way to much money on upgraded shocks and accessories not to take it. I think the 2023 pricing is going to be crazy with fees next season and I don’t see anything changing in the short term as far as shortages.Getting told I would not be getting a sled till March would be as bad as being told it is canceled. Season is over by then for the most part. At that point I would rather take a chance at getting a 2023.

Congrats! My buddy got one too. He has his VIN so hopefully dealer can't back out. lolPicked up my SRX today. Apparently I got the only one from that dealership. The salesman informed me that as far as he’s been told there’s only been 100 SRX models available for Ontario and only 12 in the Ottawa area. All his sled dealership orders were cancelled and he had to tell 2 late spring orders that their SRX sleds will not be coming. Glad I ordered mine early enough to get one.
Did he share how many LTX SE are sold in Ontario? I'm curious if its less or more than other models.

It will be interesting the next few weeks, if a bunch of thunder cats get canceled. If they don’t , does cat have more pull to get every preorder built ? If problems persist into next year do you order a cat & Yamaha so you get one ? Lol
