Not sure yet. I think if it’s capable of 215 to 220 it will be perfect for trail. Close to the mountain 9 lbs? I would prefer an intercooler. But if a bigger turbo that’s more efficient maybe heat is not as big of an issue?
Maybe have the ability to have 3 stages hopefully soon. I am hoping high 2 hundreds on race fuel. It’s just a hope!! Lol
Pistons can be changed and lower compression domes could be added to raise hp on pump too. It will be fun just to see what can be done with them imo.
Lightweight and trail manners if it is comparable to sidewinder in performance will change the game.
I hope it does because maybe it pushes the envelope to the point we get a new lightweight higher hp 4 stroke.

Let me be serious here & back on the Poo BOOST.
My bud, who has one on order, had his NA 850 Poo go in Limp Mode multiple times due to gas. Nobody else in the group had an issue.
I can't imagine the Turbo version being any better.
I also think Poo missed the boat here.
Me, and MANY others, are interested in a 4-Stroke version of the Matryx since i consider it being the best handling sled out there.
They instead came out with a 2-Smoke on ROIDS that i just DO NOT WANT!
We weren't asking for the fastest sled, but a 4-Stroke in their chassis. Maybe in 2 years equal the others' power or just close.
I have over 5000 miles this year & going up next weekend.
I NEED FOUR STROKE!!!!!!!
A BLOWN 2-Stroke?
Sounds like it will be a BLOWN UP 2-Stroke!
It WILL be fast, BUT did Poo test this down near sea level?
Like they did the first year of the 850?
These sleds will be PINNNNNED WOT on lakes & rail beds. Do they know this?
At least POO brings out something new each year and are making BIG strides & denting DOO in sales.
GOTTA give them credit for that.

I agree with you based on miles you ride that you need a four stroke. The matrix current 4 stroke is “rumored” to be turboed next year.
As far as issues next year I assume there will be a few but with a two year warranty I assume they have a decent level of confidence in their motor protection.
If it is a turd I will be the first on here bashing it and saying I was wrong

I just can't afford to lose any riding while its in under warranty being repaired, no thanks. Love the chassis however.I agree with you based on miles you ride that you need a four stroke. The matrix current 4 stroke is “rumored” to be turboed next year.

A 4 stroke will not handle exactly the same as a 2 smoke in same chassis. OCD I think its premature to ASSUME the chassis would handle the same with a 4 stroke motor.

The Levi video said they essentially were the same, until the lake.A 4 stroke will not handle exactly the same as a 2 smoke in same chassis. I think its premature to ASSUME the chassis will handle the same with a 4 stroke motor.
Bikeman got their boost to 260 but they ran it on c16. Polaris has done a ton of testing on this motor but everyone is still wondering how much you can get out of 91 before detonation happens. And how often do gas companies "cheat" on octane.

According to polaris, the indy adventure S4 has an estimated dry weight of 636 pounds.

Take off the seat, throw in the extra weight of the turbo, intercooler, etc.. it is not going to handle the same.

Yup. I have 22 Winder and 21 8000. Both in 137", both with SRX/t cat springs up front and torsion out back. No way are they the same handling machine! I was referring to OCD comments.
