2023 Polaris VR1 and Assault Boost

Yes, I agree with your statement about the County. Their expansive, long, smooth, and did I say FAST, trail system has always been the demise of many of my past 2 strokes. And even with the Sidewinder, running 105 mph for miles upon miles on trail 105 (For example), leads to cherry hot exhaust systems. So yeah, cherry hot exhaust, hit a tree, gas oil and even anti freeze will ignite. So next season with the Polaris Boost and the County trails, all hell will break loose on those lonnnnggg runs! Very hard to hold back when you have and like, The Power!

Yep, those County trails are Bigger then any sled made!

Heading up there today for another fun filled couple days of riding!

That same guy has a BOOST on order.
I'll run him on 105 to see if it burns up.

If not, i don't think anything will touch it.

Gonna be fun!!!!

We have 2 Turbo 850 Summits in our fleet. We have a 3rd that was literally just delivered but no miles. The turbos were ridden hard in Montana 25 of 31 days of Jan without a hiccup (7000-9000' elevation). Turcotte apparently just blew up his Khaos and made a towing tip video. Not sure if he was on a '22 or '23 and a Boost or not. I wouldn't buy either of those as 1st year production sleds.

Get used to it
Hahahaha
Everything can blow up. :tg:
Oh yeah we race 2 miles here not 500 or 660!
1000 ft farthest I would go

Your ALMOST sounding like the Mach z guys back when they were going to be "king of the lake".. Careful.
;)

I rode those before and I knew better than that. They make 240 max before internals need upgrade.
There are a lot of confused people who think a stock Tcat/sidewinder is also fast. Not the case.
My dealer quoted a guy a new Tcat for 23500 otd.
I know I personally would then throw 5 more grand at it.
My boost was 22500. Programmer that you have full ecu control that I can tune is $500.
Has gps. I’m guessing 600 more in clutch crap.
Maybe cylinder and pistons? Say 2k.
Bigger turbo probably 1k.
So dollar for dollar close but to see tears after priceless!
I have no issue with cat and have rode them since 93. I bought turbos because of the hp potential. Make no doubt about the fact the Polaris has huge potential also. That’s why I bought one. Cat needs to start innovating again and supposedly their is tooling in trf for new buggy. We will see??
The mach is out of the conversation at this point.
I think most saw the 850 n/a beat that and maybe we had a slow Tcat in our group but it got beaten over and over by our 850 n/a s

All good. Competition is always good!

I agree and I haven’t sold the 998s yet. Seems like with the cost of the new ones our olds ones went up in value!
Maybe this is the shot cat/yami needed to change the game
Again

2 mile race Boost against 998 ? Hell I’m in . Lol

Sarcasm above
I wouldn’t hold my turbo cat open that far
If it doesn’t do 130 in 1000ft it’s a turd
:-o
All in fun fellas

Your only going to need 3/4 throttle on a 998 to wipe up any Boost. 130 in 1000 feet is not an issue

I don’t think it will
For the Polaris lol
I’m shooting for 140s
If you are looking for a good running sled
Grinch is for sale
I think 3.8 @ 154 in 500 ft

Grinch should be for sale it got beat up by a little Pro 55.

Mike is my friend that drives it. He said it was slow

That was the bikeman tune at 240hp correct?

Realistically, what kind of power/boost levels do you think the Polaris turbo can stand on 91 PUMP gas.
I'm not talking about 660 drag racing your buddies. I'm talking constant heat-soaked full throttle trail running for hours on end.
