I know when your going into reverse or into drive, if it's flashing just give the sled a rock back and forth and it is on steady. The gear is not in all the way and rocking it gives it that extra little bit. Not sure about while driving I've never seen it come on.

Have had multiple problems with the switch from Forward to Reverse on the wifes sled. She uses it all the time but the shift doesn't seem to work most of the time. It blinks in forward and reverse a lot of the time. Only way to fix this is shut the sled down and restart it. It kicks in D when restarted. I find this reverse system to be a pain in the #*$&@ so far.

Makes me happy I bought a base model :tg: Kidding. I wish I would have got the FX.

Gypsy, what he may be referring to, is from time to time
when you push the button, nothing will happen. not even the blink/beep.

Where-as if you get the beep beep, you can rock it to engage it.

i'm seeing this behavior more and more on my mtn lite, worse when its really really cold weather

i've also seen it stuck blinking which requires you to turn the sled off and on before you can get into gear or do anything

saw this again on friday. it happens often in very cold temps, seems to me the button or something in the pod if frozen. -15F when we started that morning at 7am

One of the problem can be new drivebelt or not adjusted

then the engine put a little torque on the gears and the automatic change can not occur, i have seen the same type of problems with manula reverse also! when stopping the engine the tourque stops and the gears align..

(could not find any better word than tourque) Bad english i suppose..

On a RSventure i had this problem after a drivebelt change, hade to readjust the secondary variator.

-40 riding/starting on the weekend, half expected to see this issue but no problems.

Started with the heater plugged in, right? how long do you leave the heater on at 40 below? :rocks:

Yep, plugged in circ heater. I plug it in for an hour, I turn the sled over a couple times at 45 minutes to losen it up, then give it another 15, and it fires up on the first revolution. That initial losening up seems to be key to it starting so easily later.

I had my green lite flash tonite, was backing up, put it in drive and it flashed and wouldnt accelerate, it would just cut the fuel, no rev's. I hit the reverse again, nothing, had to rock it alot to get it to stay green and move again.

i just got done riding the 07 phazer for the first time rode about 35 miles and it is 5 degrees about 5 miles into the ride i noticed that my green light was going on and off. sled ran fine didnt miss a beat no error codes Im going to call my dealer tomorrow and see if the know anything that would cause this will let everyone what they say
