3rd Annual McCall Idaho Ride!

Ray , did your bearing ever come in so you can go riding ? Also, check out that post by The Best about the chokes on the carbs, I'm going to look at mine tomorrow. Finally got the MRI scheduled for next Tues so I'll see what happens after that,, Ken.

Yeah the bearing is in and replaced, but they broke my brake rotor while fixing it!!! That should be in tomorrow, but I have to work all weekend.

Peter, normally it would not stop me. Usually by now though we have ridden at least 600 miles together but, due to her change of shifts this spring and my "ever changing 12 hr shift schedule"; Tura has only been riding twice this season to my four times. I keep telling her to find a friend and hookup the trailer to go on her days off (if I'm working) since I have done it twice this season.

I allready have the time off during those two weeks so I figured if she can't get the four weekend days off that we would just go locally so she can get some riding in before the snow is going the wrong way.

Ray, I will definately be there if Tura can get the four days covered. I spent the money getting this SC so we could have a comparison, not to back out a month before just because I'm chicken :moon: . Tura says to hook her up with a job "working for the family" ;)! so she has flexible days off.

Jim, hope things get sorted out for you and Tura. Looking forward to riding with everyone that is able to make it to McCall this year.

Just thought you guys would like to know that the weather is calling for 35 inches of snow in the next 48 hours!!!

The ski resort just down the road from me says 101 inches. The ski resort in McCall says 113 inches.

Basically we have a lot of snow. I'd say at least 3.5 feet in my yard.

Just thought I'd bring this to the top. How's the ride going sofar Ray ?Are you finding any fresh out there to play in ? Hope you didn't get as cold over there as it did here, -25 in town and-45 up where we go riding with a -63 wind chill. I think that kept a lot of people close to home, Ken.

The snow was ok. It hasn't snowed here in a couple of weeks and has been cold so the snow was pretty crusty.

We had a low turn out of riders this year, but I think everyone had fun.

We'll post some pics soon.
