3rd Annual McCall Idaho Ride!

Ray, no problem helping you with some trim work. As far as dates go, I am totally flexible. Peter

Cool! I'll do the first couple hundred feet, and you can have the rest. That only leaves about 2600 linear feet of trim for you! ;)!

BTW where have you been? Haven't seen you on in a while. Sent you an email with an airbox question.

Ray, I'll have an answer for you soon. I tried last night but it was cold in the garage and couldn't get the line off to investigate. I have moved and am still a little disorganized.

givemeaboost, the wife and I stayed at the Super 8 and we are planning on staying there again this year.

Jim

I just took a look at the Snotel, looks like you guys might have enough snow for the ride afterall. How far is Deadwood Summit ? I see they got over 100 inches sofar, looking good, Ken.

We got a ton of snow this last week. Went riding yesterday.... Never went over about 6200 feet and had plenty of snow. Then it snowed again last night. We got about 6 inches in my yard so that means another 12-18 on top. We easily have more snow than last year.

I'm not sure where Deadwood summit is but our two area ski resorts report their snow here:

Things are looking good!!! 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

We have been getting some damned good snow. Ryan, me and the girls are headed to Burgdorf today and won't be back till Saturday. I'll give you a snow report when we return, it should be good.

Well , I see you're talking on a couple other threads so did you find any snow ? Also did you decide on a sure date for the rx1 ride ? I need to make reservations pretty soon if I'm going to get a room. Ken

There was quite a bit of snow. Burgdorf is not real high and it was warm so the snow was heavy, but it was snow. My jackshaft bearing went kaboom on the last day. We had fun though. It sounds like people will start arriving on the 16th. I'm not sure who is staying for how long.

This thread was about to fall off the page so I thought I'd rescue it. Whats going on Ray? Hows the snow? Did you get that jackshaft bearing changed and updated? Only a little more than a month away now!

The snow has been falling. We definately have more than we had fo the ride last year. That doesn't take much!!

The beast is setting at Hinson's waiting for parts. I screwed up and did not get the new parts for the '05. How dumb am I?

Peter, when do you plan on coming down? You can email me if you want.

BTW Brundage is saying 66" at the base and 97" at the summit. Last year when everyone was here I don't think the summit had even 60".

Ray, I am flexible when it comes to arrival time. When are most people showing up? You should PM Lincoln and get him off his butt and get him to commit! I get kind of scared being the only Canuck down there!

Yeah, we need to have Lincoln here. Pin the tail on the Canuck is always more fun if there is more than one Canuck!!

It sounds like will be taking our first ride either Thursday or Friday.

I am looking to take Friday off. That means I will be traveling to McCall on Thursday, riding Friday and Saturday, then coming home on Sunday. I believe Ryan and Jill will be doing the same. Should be a great ride.

J.

Going home on Sunday? You wimp!!!! It's a three day weekend!
