5th annual 2009 New York TY ride.

Would Dave, who will be leading this trip, or anybody else mind if we held it a week earlier on Wed. the 21st to Sat. the 24, and if anyone wanted to hang around and ride some on Sunday, it wouldn,t conflict with the Super Bowl. I forgot that on the original dates of Jan 28 - 31st, I will be riding up in Canada. You guys do what is best for the majority, but I wouldn't be able to make it the original dates, so if the 21st-24th works out for everyone lets plan it then FEED BACK EVERYONE!! Hope everyone had a Great Thanksgiving. A lot of snow in the forecast. Mondays storm next week will be on the boarderline between Rain and snow. Should pick up some decent lake effect up on Tug Hill tonight with some more lake effect after next weeks storm. :jump: :jump: I just looked at the web cam from 7x9 road just South of Barnes Corners and there is close to Three feet on the ground, but I only have about 10" left at my house.

I can barely move from all the turkey I've consumed.

My schedule is flexible and I'm able to ride either dates. However I hope the masses have no problem with the earlier dates as it just wouldn't seem the same without Gordon. The more the merrier!

A little nostalgia for ya all..........TY Ride 2004 :moon:

I know myself and RX136 (Larry) showed up just after you guys left and we looked all over the Hill all day for the fleet of Yamahas. Finally caught up with the group at around 3pm as the Team Blue was coming off of Stillwater Reservoir (we had just filled up at the Stillater Inn) and the Yamahas came off he Reservoir, one after another after another after another.....hahaha. Think there was about 20 or so of them riding with us that day.

Ahhhhhhh Mr Clean!! (6th sled from the right in pic). Anyone ever hear from CJ (Cliff) again?

Dates are fine by fine....whichever. As long as I know in advance.

--Steve (O.C.)

PS. Hey Viperman...gonna sell your Thanksgiving leftovers on EBay too?!?! hahaha. I have been selling alot to, trying to recapture some cash and get rid of junk.

No offense fellow TY members, but if those 2 girls showed up I wouldn't care less if no one else did! Besides.....chicks dig guys that ride Phazers!.....LOL! :-o

I'm putting in for a few days off so we can ride the 21st-24th. Dad and I just spent the last three days marking all the trails in the area that we maintain. Gordon, keep forecasting snow and WE WILL GET THIS RIDE IN THIS SEASON!

I think we had 23 riders for that first ride out of Montague on the first NY TY ride, but we ended up with only 22 because a man with only 1 arm, who rode an RX-1 could not keep up with us. Steve, why were you and Larry late for that first ride? I said we would leave at 10:00 AM sharp. Remember riding down toward Redfield that second day pushing through 3 feet + of new lake effect snow?

My bad....must have rolled in at 10:02am that day. That was my first TY ride and did not know about the strict "punctuality" factor...but I DO KNOW NOW!! haha. No more being late for TY rides for ol' Stevie-boy. Let that be a head's up for the rest of ya. When Larry rode into to Montague, he was having some issues with his sled so we tinkered around with it before we headed off to ride. That was ALOOOOOOOT of powder that next day. 3 ft of fesh powder and breaking trail the entire way....not me though, I think it was mostly BBW and Monker (Corey), who by the way dropped the TY rides like a bad habit..hahahha. Did someone tell him we enforced a "No Pinheads" rule?

Maybe you got some pull to get Corey back out on a ride, Rattler?

NJ Nytro, Marathon is about 15 minutes (16 miles) to the southeast of Cortland, NY.

Requested the time off, about 90% sure I'll get it. We have an aircraft inspection coming due about the middle of Jan. I'm pushing to get it scheduled for the weekend before our ride. Will keep everyone posted when the date gets closer.

Maybe this year.....It all depends on the dates and work. I hope to make it for one day anyway. Espically to be out in front if there's deep snow. :tg:

Ahhhhhh..the memories of TY rides of past.

Monker, glad to see you crawled out from under the rock you were hiding under...
