Lets set it then. Does out of Barneveld/Remsen area work? Budget Inn on Route 12 right across from the bowling alley, where we can launch from daily?
Or here is a thought, maybe a better one....Unless you wanted to do it out of the Freeman Hotel in Swancott Mills (between West Leyden and Osceola). I just put a call in and they do appear to have availability (I am just waiting on a call back). This place is great because they have individual rooms upstairs (some are bunk style) and a common area downstairs (bar {BYOB}, couches, woodstove, breakfast in the morning). Might be cooler to do something like this rather than retiring to our respective motel rooms after riding every night. Just a thought.
PS the price is right at this place too ($40/night, with daily breakfast included, if I remember). Nothing fancy though for you Sally's though!!

Dave, You should get 6-8" or more of snow tomorrow down your way, and now you have to work, figures. So where to Guys? I was out today. Plenty of snow around these parts. I may not be able to ride on Wed. the 21st. Might have to take my wife to Philadelphia to some special eye doctor. I should know in a week or so. Boomer, load that sled up on your trailer and get to at least one of our rides for a day. Where in the Old Forge area are you keeping your sled?

The remson starting place is good! The bowling parking lot worked great for everyone. Anyone have the phone numbers? We can go get Boomer if need be.

If I make the first few days of the ride we will be staying overnight in Syracuse so Mapledale wouldn't be a bad place to start. Glad to hear more snow is on the way Gordon. We rode out of Marathon yesterday and fields were a bit thin until we got a little north. Then we had lots of fresh powder all the way to Erieville(had lunch at Rosie's Tuscarora Inn).

I guess I spoke too soon. My friend gave me his schedule for his place in Old Forge and the weekend of the ride, I can't stay up there. He is having his whole family up, so I wouldn't have a place to sleep. So, I'm going to try and take off Friday and meet you guys wherever you decide to ride out of. BBW - I promise to be ready to ride whenever you say. What is that - 9:00AM sharp?

Looks like the NY TY ride will be out of Mapledale from Wed. Jan.21-Sat. Jan 24th. I will put a new post on with all the information very soon, so check for it.

hey guys how have you been? i would of chimed in earlier but my sled is always in the shop lol. so wheres the ride this year?
i already know you guys change plans at the last minute lol.
remember ny attak, i was pullin out and you guys were pullin in lol. i made it back with one tank of gas too but it was a close one lol, the down side to the one ton is gas consumption lol.
remember you guys said we have siphons, ride it that was closer than ill ever get again. let me know maybe the shop can let me take my sled for a ride lol
