5th annual 2009 New York TY ride.

The reason I suggested these dates for our ride our two fold. First I have seen rides suggested from other states listed on this forum, where nobody steps up to the plate to plan anything and then before you know it Winter is half over and no concret plans were made and the ride never happens. Second, I have to pick my vacation time this week for the whole year, and I want to make sure I can get the days off I need for the ride. I hate to call in Sick for 3 days in a row. My work week is Firday through Tuesday. If anybody wants to go with other dates, just suggest them and we will see what works out the best for everyone. You all take care now, Oh and I should be riding on Tug hill some time this week.

:jump:

Rattler if you are trucking i am in. I to would like the dates set so i can take the time off this year. i had a blast riding with all of you last year.

Got a question, i already know what the dates are for the ty ride, but where are you guys going to be riding? Are you going to be riding through like deryter or toggegenburg ski resort? or are you going the complete opposite way?

Jake

Will be going through DeRuyter at least one day for sure, possibly two depending on what loops we ride(Lafayette and/or Georgetown). Also plan on doing a ride around Skaneateles lake and one towards Owego area.

Maybe half a dozen so far. Most I remember having on one of our TY rides was 18. Hope you'll join us Jake.

sleepless i will truck if i can get time off from the new boss. he is a prick but i dont have to tell you that.

Well DAMN Gordon...of course I wanna go! But I am stuck down here in snowless Orange County NY for the time being!!! Oh wait a second..we got a few flurries in the air tonight. Yipppeeee! Not quite enough to go tear up the yard yet though. Ride away my friend...ride away.
Happy trails.

Start plotting the courses and markin the trail maps RX1-Man....oh yeah, and do lots of snow dances for enough snow to do this ride down by you.

RX-1 Man, since you will be leading this NY TY ride if it is held down by your house, are those dates Jan 28-31 OK with you? If you would like to make it a week earlier, say the 21-24th, that would be fine also. Maybe we should take a vote and see how many would want it Jan. 21st-24th, and how many would want it on the original dates I posted Jan. 28th-31st. Either time frame is OK with me, I just want to know soom so I can put in for the days off. What dates works out best for everyone? By the way I rode some on Tug Hill yesterday. Felt great to get that feeling of hitting 100 MPH on a sled again. Only could ride the south part of the Hill. Anything much North of Tabolts corners did not have enough snow.

I can do either dates. What ever works for everyone else. I think most already said the later dates would be fine.

100 MPH?.....what's that? Oh yeah, I remember from my SRX and Viper days. Back to the dates....either is fine by me. I'm in for whatever the general consensus dictates.

:rocks:

got about 20 " of snow here in WNY! Just a teasen. When the season opens it will be grass.

Either or both dates Good
