Can anyone tell me any real world pro's and con's between the 660 and 700 used in the Grizzly's? Besides the obvious FI on the 700.
I have found some killer deals on 660's.
Thanks.

Mine don't burn oil (2002). I also big bored (686)mine so maybe with the new piston and rings there are no problems.
The 700 EFI has better center of gravity, true dry storage, and power steering. Great machine very peppy.... but I still like my 660 and for the price the 660s are awesome wheelers.

I put 3,000 miles on my 03 grizz 660, never burnt any oil. just a whole lotta valve ajustments. then I did the 686cc over boar with a 13.5:1, with a 696/697 web cam, kibblewhite heavy duty springs, uni pro flow, EBC clutch kit, and a Big Gun full exsahust. It has all the power you could ever want. I talked to Pat Brown, a factory Yamaha quad mx racer in Bowling green KY. in 06 when the 700 first came out, and he said he really didn't see much more power over the 660. just alittle better throtle response, and the power steering was nice.
I have a "04" 660 that also has not burnt any oil. Great quad but I am getting rid of it as I think I will have more fun with the kids on a side by side.

What kinda shape is your Grizz in? I'm looking for a super clean one plus cash for my new Rhino............no4smoke said:I have a "04" 660 that also has not burnt any oil. Great quad but I am getting rid of it as I think I will have more fun with the kids on a side by side.
I will try and take some pictures and send them to ya on Sunday. Pretty super clean as I havent used it as much as I would have like to the past few years. Only give the kids short rides as its to hard with them as far as hanging on. The kids are to old to sit in front and I am to big they cant see to sit behind! lol
