Has someone completed a 400-500 mile trip with an extremely positive review? With all the issues showing up I'd like to hear from someone with that kind of miles without an issue. I'm going to be putting at least 400 on my sled next weekend and I'm really looking forward to it.

Ditto. Headed to Quebec and hoping for no issues.

My good buddy has a sidewinder. 1400 miles on it already. Only one issue. It was a boost air leak at a loose clamp. That was 1200 miles ago. He's lovin it now.

I have 40 on mine 0 issues lol.

450 miles on mine only issue was coolant needed 2 Oz to top it off and one minor flat spot on roller.

I have many customers with over 1000 miles and no issues loving their boosted sleds. Also have a very large amount of customers with over 600 miles mostly trouble free. Common issue is f
Rollers with flat spots but thats easily fixed and a few guys do blow belts. Many guys don't.

375 miles with a blown belt being the only issue, which I consider minor. Love this sled.

Putting new rollers on before I leave. I have 145 miles with the TD Ecotrail / TD TurboForce / TD Clutching and it's wild without studs. I have 192 Stingers in now and heading to Northern Wisconsin on Thursday night.

Thank god for TY but I do think it paints a darker picture than the reality even though there are actually very many very positive reviews here. There are a lot of test pilots out there now and of course Turbo bolts, flattened rollers, boost leaks, cracked coolant hoses and now one loose fuel rail. Luckily we can check all of them pretty easy. Fuel rail, coolant issue, and keeping the Turbo bolts seem to be the most important and possible trip spoilers.

It's not the sled. It's the quality of it being put together by the sound of it.

I have had sleds from other manufacturer that didn't have loose bolts (actually they did have loose bolts) but they also stopped running and or needed aluminum welding in order to keep running, so not to bad overall IMO.

700 kms, one roller small flat spot , replace at 400 kms with Cat rollers.

Apex has a lot of guys spoiled but each sled has the odd issue minor stuff at our skidoo dealership there has been 850s blown up already once the little bugs worked out I think the winder will be awesome remember drive to arrive just get there first

I had a 06 Apex and the Sidewinder is no Apex and that's a very good thing. My Sidewinder feels so much lighter and rides and handles so much better than any Apex its not even funny. All these issues are very small and I'm sure are very easy fixes. The sky isn't falling just yet. I took my SW apart to change out the track a couple days ago and this sled is very impressive the way its put together. I've been a huge Doo fan and have always been impressed with Ski Doo's and this sled is built every bit as good. A few loose bolts big deal, flat rollers, Doo had that for three years on their Edrive clutches before coming out with a fix, a fuel rail that wasn't properly torqued that was probably the same Cat employee who didn't torque the turbo bolts properly either. Maybe they forgot to show him how to use a torque wrench? My early impressions about this sled is its very well thought out and engineered and a few little things will happen but none of them are game stoppers. Its great that we have a forum like this to share this info and stay on top of the issues that are expected and deal with them without jumping off bridges.

DITTO DITTO,yes this is not my 2013 cat procross belt burner in any way, shape or form. Light years ahead.

Only have about 250 miles on mine so far...but just got home from a ride. I love this sled...I've owned 2 boosted 1100 cat turbo's in the past...and honestly stock on the trails this thing pulls damn hard. It almost doesn't need to be tuned up....:-o but having said that...I will be at 14 psi very shortly lol Can't wait to try it. :sled1:
