Accessory plug in type on Viper

Cat has a wired in plug. It's on the right side, tucked in behind the oil tank. Buy a cat heated shield adapter($12), route it to the handle bar & your done

I used a jack from a skidoo and wired it to the battery with a fuse.

Or...you could buy absolutely nothing!
These cables are nothing more than standard RCA cables.
I know I have more of them than I know what to do with....
You can simply cut the end off a long one and wire it up!
It will plug right into your helmet.

Hey Zampinator, I'm lost lol! Feel free to PM me on how to do what you did! I like that setup and it doesn't look like it would scratch up the plastics all to hell.

I tried googling the adapter for arctic cat and all it shows is the cig plug in adapter which I have. I don't get it. Hahaha. I also don't have my sled infront of me to even grab a clue as to what your pics mean or anything, sorry. But interested, let me know. Thanks!!

Not a bad Idea at all. But for $12 I'll just "plug & play".

This all that is needed.

Arctic Cat TXi / PFP / Crosstec Helmet Electric Dash Cord
Part # 4202-923

1 question though. Does anyone know what fuse operates that plug? Just wondering if you blow that fuse will it take out all the stuff the 12v socket takes out. If not then for sure this method is a win!

I took a simple 2 pronged trailer wire...1.79 for 12-inch piece with two ends. Connected it to the helmet female wire, plugged the other end in at the chain case and ran the helmet wire with the female end under the plastic away from heat fished it up the steering post and zipp tied it there. Can't be seen but when needed just reach in with a finger pop it out and plug in. My son used it one day seemed to work well.

I was wondering if that was the same size plug.
