Accessory plug in type on Viper

Here is the Pantera setup. Should work well very low profile. I have no idea where the plug on it goes to. It is a two connector plug but I will just cut it off and wire it to accessory plug by chaincase.

Is the 2 pole flat pug by the chain case already a 'fused' circut or do I need and inline fuse? THanks

Like the Pantera stuff. ? Make my own from available stuff in garage or spend more $..... Oh did I say that out loud?

It's fused.

I ordered two Polaris RCA plugs off eBay. And installed them on the handlebar covers just like I had on my rushes. Ran the wires up the tank under the plastic cover and up the steering post. Just had to watch the polarity of the wires when I extended the RCA wire to make it fit. Test with my Gmax helmet and all is good.

I ran a fused line from the battery up to the handlebar area and split it into two of the two pole connectors as shown in my picture. my heated shield cord plugs into one of them utilizing a short RCA jack pigtail. The other one I can use to plug in my battery tender into or I can plug this USB adapter in and power anything that uses a USB cord such as my cell phone.

My GPS plugs into the cig lighter socket to the left of the gauge cluster because I want it to be powered on and off with the key. The heated shield and the USB adapter I want hot all of the time which also allows the battery to be charged easily through this same connector.

My dad has the Yamaha cigarette lighter hookup for his viper rate now and he doesn't like that it comes out by itself during the day and was wondering what you guys are using for a heated shield hookup.

I'd like to know as well. I have the outlet adapter as well. But my helmet cord I don't think will be long enough to be comfortable without it pulling out while riding. I'm wondering if I can use an old short part (still works) of an old helmet cord ( long part is shot, but short part still works) and zip tie the short cord to handlebar and mesh grille piece and plug into the adaptor outlet (like an extension, also will prevent from scratching up the plastics on the sled(yes I'm fussy LOL) ) than use my new cord (has two parts like normal) . Hope that makes sense lol. But I'm wondering will that blow a fuse? Or mess up the helmet or anything? I've read that the fuse block is a pain in the #*$&@ to get to, last thing I wanna do is take the hood off on the trails.

My FXR helmet came with this cord to go to the battery, I guess you could add an inline fuse if your concerned about shorting out....
