ADVICE NEEDED PLEASE!

dean is the owner & usually at the counter great guys to deal with always willing to help you out.get the gt28rs even if you want to run lower boost it will do it well.if money is a issue go with the head shim you are good to 12lbs -250hp then after that run av gas or race gas mix for better motor life or get a parker knock box & then you can run the cheaper fuel till you get knock then you can back it down so you know your limit.its like alot of guys on here say you can run with cheap gas but it will cost you sooner or later. ;)!

I don,t believe any kit can run 17 lbs on pump fuel not on the pump fuel in the lower 48, it doesn,t matter who,s kit you have they all need the same fuel reguirements, I am not saying nobody has done it but I don,t believe they will get away with it for ever it will take the motor out in the end, I have seen several stock motors on pump fuel at 8 to 10 lbs go down, some of them ran awhile but in the end it cost them, get the bigger turbo which ever kit you decide on, you are already saying you want to turn it up, its cheaper and easier to go bigger the first time, I have up grade twice now, and don,t push your luck by skimping on fuel, it cost money to go fast and it cost a lot more if you try to do it cheaply.
I am talking about riding 4000-8000' not running it at sea level, 10-1 pistons 2 head gaskets and a final ratio of 9-1

? I guess only in Canada EH! :drink: .........maybe not with a front mount, but with the rear mount mcx at higher elevation you definitely can run 17lbs with low comp pistions and two head gaskets.

Here in Scandinavia pump fuel is of good quality, it is possible, wouldn't hold her open for a mile+ tho.
