My Yamaha carbide runners (on my tuner skis) are toast after only 500 miles. Conditions haven't been great but to wear out a pair of carbides at only 500 miles I would assume the Yamaha ones aren't that good. So...has anyone found any aftermarket carbides that are made for the tuners? I found 4" carbides through Woodys but I am looking for the 2" runner.

Call Rich. I know he has some Woody's.

According to my dealer, Woodys doesn't make a 2" runner... yet. Supposedly it's in the works?

Why would you want a 2 inch carbide runner? A 4 inch carbide runner will outlast the 2 inch carbide runner by a great deal.

My initial thought was to go with 4 inch for both, but people who have a pre-studded track or no studs seem to like that 4 and 2 combination? Some have liked 4+4 while others have said it pushed just like a dually carbide.
So I guess the answer to your question is less push?

I have the 4" on the inside and 2" on the outside now. The 4" yamaha carbides are shot just like the 2" ones are. Woodys has the 4" but they do not offer the 2". I don't want to run 4" and 4" because my steering is hard enough now with the 4-2 set up. The 4-2 setup works great for me now so I was hoping woodys or roetin would offer the 2". I have put alot of miles on woodys and roetin carbides in the past (alot more than the 500miles I got out of the Yamaha ones).

Got mine at dealers (mcgregor Sportsline) they just got them in new at start of season .
I went thirty miles and the carbide chipped out of mine on good conditions. Same spot on all four. I think the Yamaha ones suck. I have to check the Woody's. I have 180 in carbides. Should of just stayed with snowtrackers.

Yes, they are the best thing out there. I had the dealership take pictures and is going to send them to me. Looks like a bad weld job for the carbide to the bar. The square bars are fine but all of the carbide is out. I will check the 6" woody's tonight and see if they did any better but skis and carbides I am way over snowtrackers.
Bergstrom is now making carbides for the tuner skis
Here are the part numbers for all 4 sizes of Woody's Carbides for the Tuner skis, These are yamaha part numbers. So you can order them at your dealer, I am pretty sure your dealer will not know these numbers yet since they are pretty new.

These are all square bars and are way beefier then the other style Yamaha was offering. Also they are all in stock!
